From 13 to 16 November, the 4th edition of Formnext will be held in Frankfurt. Formnext is one of the foremost international events for getting to know first-hand the latest trends and novelties in the additive manufacturing industry.

Smart printers
Our industrial 3D printers include smart printer capabilities to ensure efficiency from the very beginning with automatic file repair and printer configuration verification:
JCR Manager
Management software for communication between the user and the 3D printer. It allows for the intuitive, intelligent use of functions in order to optimise all parameters beforehand and ensure reliable printing.
Most notable functions:
- Automatic Check: automatically verifies and repairs the STL file and generates a detailed report on it. If the file contains errors (holes in the design, inverted normals, etc.), it fixes them and ensures it is suitable for printing.
- File Tester: verifies that the G-Code file configuration and the 3D printer are compatible by reviewing parameters (layer thickness, printing speed, printing nozzles, etc.). If there is an error, it does not allow printing to start and indicates the steps to take to correct it.
- Time-lapse: allows for a time-lapse video of the printing process to be downloaded and managed for supervision and analysis.
In addition to the JCR Manager management software, all JCR 3D printer models include software licenses for JCR Edit (software for checking, repairing, exporting, and editing 3D models) and Simplify 3D® (3D slicer software that converts .stl files into G-Code) as standard.
JCR 3D printers and their smart system solve 80% of the typical incidents that arise with FFF or FDM technology printers, such as errors in file design, errors in generating G-Codes, blockages, wearing of the extruder, etc.
